Marriage Preparation

Leaflets explaining Parish Policy, (in line with the Diocesan Policy) are available from the Narthex, (BLUE).

Engaged couples are reminded of the Diocesan Policy that at least six months notice is required to be given to Parish Clergy.

If you are resident in this Parish but wish to be married somewhere else (even outside Britain) you still need to have all 'paper work' and a Diocesan Preparation Course organised from the Parish... This is a matter related to Canon Law (not a priest!) but the Law governing the Church.
Please respond to the six-months requirement.

Further information can be found here

Do you know anyone who might like to find out about the

Catholic Faith and Church?

We have what we call 'Journey in Faith' to enable those who wish to explore what the Catholic Church has to offer the different faith experiences of a variety of people.
Our Journey in Faith has four steps: Welcome - Teaching - Prayer & Reflection - On-going steps.
If you are someone who would like to know more, or if you know someone who might like to explore the Journey in Faith contact: Anne Dixon.
As usual - ALL are Welcome!

DEEPENING OUR FAITH

The Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies (CCRS) is a course which is open to teachers, catechists, parishioners and all Catholic adults who are keen to deepen their understanding of their Catholic faith.

Its six core modules are the Old Testament, the New Testament, Jesus Christ, the Church, the Sacraments and Christian Morality.

The sessions take place at two centres (at Tooting Bec and at Canterbury) and each module is taught over two Saturdays.
Individuals are welcome to book for particular modules or for the whole course.

Please see poster for further details or contact Dr Frank Keen, Course Secretary, on 020 8672 7684/2422 or email now
